Runescape-If one continues to train strength after one achieves level 99 strength, will said player hit higher?

I know that all skills (with the exception of dungeoneering) stop at level 99 and you can no longer gain a higher level in that skill. However, if I were to reach level 99 strength and continued to train my strength to, let's say 200 million exp; would I be able to hit higher then when I simply had the 13.2 million exp required for level 99?
