I can't connect to my minecraft server don't know why?

I have been using this server for a while about a week maybe more and i have played on Deadmau5 server a few times but recently i cant connect to any servers all that happens is, when i try to connect to my server it says it has timed out and when i try to connect to other servers it says "internal exception: java.socketTimeoutException: Read Timed out " i have deleted my minecraft and reinstalled it still doesn't work please can some one help!
