New guy in my life, ex irritating me...?

Okay this is sort of long. I know I have posted 2 questions earlier about my ex and a new guy. I broke up with my ex 1 week ago officially. I haven't been happy with him for 1 year though. He treats me like ****, but once he realized I was gone for good, he begged for me back. I will always love him, but not in love with him. I met someone new, I mean we have so much in common, and he has made me smile more than my ex ever did. Now. my ex is getting on his friends and mom's facebook to see my profile to see who I have been talking with. The guy I'm talking too is 23 and I'm 19. I don't think he is too old for me. I mean this guy is just awesome. I do have feelings for him. Well my ex keeps texting me and calling me a whore and saying his family is disappointed with me and they want nothing to do with me. I live in a really small town, so this is like really hard. Plus I just found out my brother has leukemia. My ex did do alot for me. we dated for 3 years. But i wasnt happy. and he pushed me away. And this new guy im talking too, we are just good friends right now. I'm not planning on dating for a while, plus this new guy lives in Cali right now (hes from my hometown) and hes planning on moving back in the next year or so. I'm really upset, what should I do?
